MEASLES WEASELS: THE MADDENING AND ENDLESS ARGUMENT ABOUT VACCINES

Which each passing day, the vitriolic rage online over vaccines is becoming more pronounced.. and perusal of a comments section on news articles detailing the Disneyland outbreak will yield hateful messages from pro and anti vaccine believers.. Websites specializing in conspiracy will scream banner headlines of a global agenda to depopulate the land--one that your friendly local pediatrician is falling prey to.. And on the other side of the needle, news organizations and various publications are running stories about how vaccine refusers should be arrested, have their children taken from then.. maybe even thrown into some imperial Gulag without sunshine or music for the rest of their lives.

This is the way we fight now.. ONLINE. All the time.

It is a tough road, this vaccine path. It may be one of the very few subjects that, when you search, is the most difficult to find comprehensive and good sources that speak only truth.. Yes, the CDC espousing the safety of vaccines. But MERCK is in some hot water--there are claims and coming court proceedings about the big pharma company potentially skewing results of its MMR vaccine. And William Thompson, the hero of anti-vaccine believers, just got whistleblower immunity and will take his case to Congress and allege that the CDC fraudulently faked results showing no relation between vaccines and autism..

If you want to do research, like real research not tainted by false narratives and biases, good luck. I dare you to Google 'vaccine safety' without being slammed with countless websites like weird names. Heck maybe even mine now may be included..

What gets me more than anything are the endless cauldrons of fake doctors among us. People who seemingly have become experts overnight..There is the anti-science crowd that never a conspiracy theory they didn't like.. and on the flipside the science-ology religion that enforces the notion that there's no contrary points of view within and that, without question, the government never does wrong. We know both sides are, well.. WRONG.

There are people who don't get the idea of herd immunity or vaccine theory on how the body can fight disease with a little help and how we can protect the most vulnerable by vaccinating ourselves. On the other hand, again, we have a large group of people who either don't know or don't care that vaccine injury payouts have exceeded $3 billion.

Some are calling this the biggest outbreak ever. But there were bigger ones, like when almost 400 unvaccinated Amish people were hit with measles..

And yes, there was a very BRADY measles episode. But also, measles kills. So it's better to not have them than have them..

I am quite frankly completely done with this argument. I don't even want to talk about it.. I am amazed with the angry response to Rand Paul for suggesting that parents can do a little of what they want.. I am also amazed with people who don't comprehend the effectiveness of vaccine science. And I am disgusted by the anti-vaccine people who reject logic, and even more disgusted by the pro vaccine people who ignore mistakes and want to punish parents for, in the end, making decisions based off of love for their child..

This is all maddening.
It's endless..
I am through with it.

And quite frankly it does not matter what I say. Whichever camp you belong to, I have not yet seen evidence to show that facts can sway you. Regardless of where you stand..

So that's that from me.

Good luck. Go Google stuff.. Bing it. Bring it.
Eradicate it.. And vaccine it.

I just wish I could inoculate myself from a debate that never goes away and really angry and cruel people on each side of the needle.
