The Manitoba UFO story hits national airwaves with Clyde Lewis program

There are various reports coming from Manitoba Canada, images and videos, and firsthand reports of a potential UFO crash. Social media has been going wild for days about this event. Tonight it's getting major play with a GROUND ZERO WITH CLYDE LEWIS live program airing about the event..

CBCNEWS is reporting this:

Social media reports of a possible UFO sighting last night near Jackhead, Man., are not true, says the Canadian Forces, which attributed the bright light people saw to an airplane from a training exercise.

On Wednesday night, several people said on Twitter and Facebook that they saw a bright light in the sky, fuelling speculation that it may have been an unidentified flying object.

The rumour became stronger when photos were posted of Canadian Forces vehicles in the area, with some people claiming the military was there to contain a UFO crash site.

But it was not a UFO at all, says Lt.-Col. Paul Davies, commanding officer 38 Territorial Battalion Group, which is involved in an Arctic Response Company Group training exercise on Lake Winnipeg this week.

And more from CBC: The government has been forced into responding to the event and the subsequent social media barrage of UFO rumors..
"There's no aliens, just my friends in the air force who are out there helping us on this exercise," Davies told CBC News on Thursday.

"I have the commander of that air force contingent sitting right beside me and, you know, he assures us that that was not a UFO, but that was him."

The military said that the people involved in the training are being trained to deal with a plane crash..

The story, however, does not end there.. The comments section on CBC is more interesting than the regurgitation of talking points from government officials.. Comments like this, written by a reader named Khaleda PureLove:
One detained with evidence of what happened, civilians are told no one in or out of the reserve. Phones lines down, people questioned, military blocked area. Multiple people stated. Why won't you just provide us with the truth, we are ready! Especially after John Podesta had as his #1 regret of 2014, exposing ufos

One commenter joked:

That thar sounds like a good ol' Canadian area 51 cover up goin' on up them part. Quick someone call Mulder and Scully.

Clyde Lewis is offering conjecture tonight regarding this incident to his national audience on GROUND ZERO. Among points being made:
Literally, the Canadian military had blocked communications about the incident, which brings up a lot of questions that I am sure the military does not want to answer.

UFOs of course are a hard sell in a world where skepticism has taken hold all because of internet opportunists that love a good UFO story that they can hoax or use to fool the public.

It seems there was indeed something in the ice of military interest on Feb. 18. Pictures of military vehicles near Jackhead were popping up all over the internet, generating from twitter accounts in Winnipeg.

More from Clyde Lewis:
If it routine training why all of the drama, why is there a shelter in place command being issued by the military and with the extreme cold front in Manitoba over the last two days why would these so called exercises continue in extremely dangerous conditions. In a deadly freeze, it is dangerous to spend time outdoors for any period.

Other people, though, are tossing a cold water on top of the UFO flareup on social media..iDigitalTimes mocked the event and showcased imagery and asked where the good UFO hoaxers have gone?

Meanwhile on the ground in Manitoba: Military vehicles are lined up, telling people to say in their homes, and people taking photo are being threatened..

These times we live in..surely they are strange times indeed..
