NEW YORK TIMES REPORTING THIS:

 At least two gunmen traumatized the heart of the Canadian government on Wednesday, with one shooting a soldier guarding the National War Memorial and then entering the adjacent Parliament building, where multiple rounds were fired. Shooting also was reported at a nearby shopping mall.

This is a developing story..

MULTIPLE SHOOTERS ARE BEING REPORTED .. 

CNN reports:

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was evacuated from the building and is safe, his press secretary Carl Vallee tweeted

He is safe.. but the nerves are shattered and now law enforcement in the United States is on alert.. the FBI saying to raise alert levels in response to the chaos that has ensued in Canada..

Also this information from CNN:

The CBC is reporting that Parliament is on lockdown.

"We don’t know if it’s someone from the military who was targeted or not," Ottawa police Constable Marc Soucy told CNN, adding that the gunfire was reported at 9:52 a.m. ET.

Clearly the situation is still unfolding and the crisis is still ongoing..

There will be a number of rumors as it develops and tons of mis and dis information revealed..

Other reporting says that there are a multitude of suspects involved with the attack today.

The nightmare began only moments ago.. A cellphone video caught the incident as it began.. The scene is one of chaos and gunfire, breathtaking footage as the terror attack began..
