Conspiracy theories have raged ever since the early 80s when newspaper accounts said that a planet X celestial body exists somewhere beyond Earth.. In more recent times, NASA has feverishly worked to downplay any such entity.

At least two planets larger than Earth likely lurk in the dark depths of space far beyond Pluto, just waiting to be discovered, a new analysis of the orbits of "extreme trans-Neptunian objects" (ETNOs) suggests.

It's interesting to note that just under one year ago, NASA announced lots of new planets--but they made sure to say there was no Planet X in the mix..

Some Space news websites are portraying this as fresh news but the researchers they are citing, C and R De La Fuente Marcos, published their frist paper about it back in June 2014 shortly after the discovery of 2012 VP113. Why did they wait this long to publish anything about it?

That is a great point, and thanks for the tip and information.. that's interesting that it was really 2014 news and not this year--even more interesting is how, in 1983 it seemed some folks already had discovered a body as big as Jupiter in our solar system, as well.. http://planet-x.150m.com/washpost.html
