A blast of color.. A rainbow behind my house as photographed by a friend.. Directly from the woods behind the abode..

The cold air just moved in. Night is falling..

The last glimmer of light is from the array of colors fading into the winter night..

A funny little epitaph to this post.. After I initially put this on my Instagram, I got a message from a friend who said that he experienced the same thing--a double rainbow not only appearing over his house but also a friend of his sending him an image of it. Same exact circumstances.. 60  mile difference in space..

There are reasons this may be symbolic.. others that showcase a purely coincidental series of circumstances leading to the same events.

Either way, this night with a double sign in two locations of hope.. Hopefully hope.

We all need hope sometimes, don't we?
